Run faster. Jump higher. And take your performance to the next level with Methodist Fremont Health’s Youth Speed and Agility Camp. Led by Methodist Fremont Health certified athletic trainers and Fremont High and Middle School coaches, this camp is designed to help young athletes avoid injury with proper running, cutting and jumping techniques while developing their speed, power, flexibility and coordination.

Students entering grades 3 through 8 are encouraged to register. The camp sessions – which are held at the Fremont High School track – start May 28 and take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning (9-9:45 a.m.) through June 27. The cost is $50 and includes a T-shirt, which is given to athletes at the end of camp.

“The Methodist Fremont Health Youth Speed and Agility Camp is a fun opportunity for our certified athletic trainers to partner with local coaches and work with athletes on performance improvement,” said Jamie Crowe, sports medicine coordinator at Methodist Fremont Health. “Participants who have consistently attended have shown significant improvement in the development of their speed, explosiveness, running form and flexibility.”
