I have always known that Methodist had something special, only hired the best, and created a culture of caring but in the past I thought I was just a bit biased. It is more than my personal bias.

On May 13, 2018 my husband, Hunter and I were having the most beautiful time fly fishing near Wilbur Dam located near Elizabethton TN. An unfortunate turn of events found my husband saving my life at the cost of his own. I was hospitalized for 3 days and returned to my home which is now in Asheville, NC.

I share this story not to seek sympathy. It is to recognize what an amazing team you have at Nebraska Methodist Health System. I am overwhelmed at the amount of love and support provided to me during this time.

I left my employment at NMH in January of 2014 and fondly cherished my Methodist family. The gestures, donations, and support from afar went above and beyond. I have always known that Methodist had something special, only hired the best, and created a culture of caring but in the past I thought I was just a bit biased. It is more than my personal bias.

My entire family felt their love and support as well.

The number of people who have reached out, signed a card, donated money goes beyond what I could imagine. I know these gestures are simply who they are and NMH fosters that gift. I also know this is emulated in the care they provide to each and every patient.

Please share my humble gratitude and take a moment to celebrate what a truly amazing team/family you have.

Respectfully,

Robyn (Michal) Sadle
