Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Walk/run will begin at 9 a.m.

Please park in the Nebraska Methodist college surface lot. Registration will be at the East entrance to campus and the Walk/Run will be held on the campus walking path.

Cost is $10 per individual runner/walker or $25 per family

Join Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) on Saturday, April 30, for the NMC Walk/Run for Hope and Healing on the Nebraska Methodist College Josie Harper Campus. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the walk/run will start at 9 a.m.

The event is organized by NMC’s Boundless Compassion Class (HUM 275) and will support the family of Lisa Johnson, PhD, director of student services at NMC. Johnson, her husband, Jeremy, and their seven children are in need of financial support following Jeremy’s recent diagnosis of relapsing polychondritis.

Johnson’s dedication and loyalty to NMC’s core values of learning, excellence, holism, caring and respect have taught our community that compassion is the greatest gift we can give one another, especially during times of crisis.

Food will be available for purchase at the event, and raffle items will be offered. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Johnson family.
