Wendy Rix, LPN
Charge Nurse
It would be an understatement to say that Wendy Rix, LPN, enjoys being a charge nurse at Dunklau Gardens.
“I can’t express how much I love my job,” she said.
Rix began her health care career as a nursing home nursing assistant in 2000 and made her way to Methodist Fremont Health in 2008. She has experience as a unit secretary and telemetry technician. She became a part of the Dunklau Gardens family after graduating from Southeast Community College in 2018.
One of the best parts of her job at Dunklau Gardens? Learning from her superiors every day, she said. Rix has plans to continue her education in the near future.
