KETV: Domestic Violence On the Rise, Methodist Providing Care

About 50 cases of domestic violence were reported in Douglas County during the holidays.

Investigators said it’s a dramatic increase and a sad statistic of the holiday season.

“I think when people come here they’re broken. Their spirits are broken. They have nothing left," said Anne Boatright of Methodist Health System.
