Published: Feb. 5, 2015

(OMAHA) – To say Dr. Aimee Probasco has a strong passion for helping others would be an understatement. Throughout her life she has volunteered her time as a youth counselor, peer counselor and resource center volunteer.

It’s no wonder she pursued the medical profession and is now the newest member of the OB/GYN team at Methodist Physicians Clinic. She will be seeing patients at the Methodist Physicians Clinic Women’s Center, located at 192nd & Dodge.

Dr. Probasco began her educational journey at the University of South Dakota, earning her bachelor of science in biology. Her medical training took her to Des Moines University where she was awarded her doctor of osteopathy. Her OB/GYN residency was complete here in Omaha at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Since 2010, she has been an attending physician at West Des Moines OB/GYN Associates.

Board-certified in OB/GYN, among many of her community efforts Dr. Probasco has served as a youth counselor at West Iowa Family Services, was a Special Olympics event volunteer, was a C.A.R.E volunteer, presently serves as a committee member for the Young Women’s Resource Center and worked as an osteopathic manipulative medicine teaching assistant.

She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Osteopathic Association.
