Frontline Workers at Methodist Fremont Health Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

The light at the end of the tunnel moved a little closer for some health care workers at Methodist Fremont Health on Wednesday as they were among the first in the area to receive COVID-19 vaccinations.

Angela Meiergerd, a registered nurse at Methodist Fremont Health Hospital, was the first employee there to receive the vaccine.

“I think it’s a huge relief,” said Meiergerd, a mother of two. “I am very concerned about bringing it home to my family.”
