Local COVID-19 Hospitalizations Trending Younger, Omaha Health Systems Say

All three of the Omaha-area health systems say they are seeing younger and younger COVID-19 patients.

Methodist Physicians Clinic infectious disease specialist Jessica Jones, MD, was among the local experts to weigh in on the latest trends in the Omaha area.

“It takes a lot more to have a young healthy person get into the hospital," she said. "They have a much stronger immune system."
