Methodist Community Health Fair Offers Screenings for Chronic Conditions, Fills Need

Published: June 29, 2021

On June 28, the Methodist Community Health Clinic partnered with Kountze Commons and the Nebraska Methodist College Mobile Diabetes Center to offer a free community health fair. Attendees were screened for chronic conditions, received the COVID-19 vaccine and had access to the Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church Community Food Pantry.

With many community events and mobile screenings sidelined last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the community health fair supported Methodist’s goals of catching people up on missed screenings and breaking down barriers to health care by meeting people where they are.
