Methodist Health Raising Awareness Via Twitter Chat

Published: April 11, 2016

Methodist Health System will host its 4th annual Twitter chat during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

The chat, scheduled for April 12 from noon to 1 p.m., is a community-wide effort to raise awareness about the issues of sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking in the Omaha community.

Community partners will join Methodist in the discussion which also provides insight into the many resources available to survivors of these horrific crimes.

Anne Boatright, SANE/SART coordinator for Methodist Health System, appeared on KMTV's Morning Blend to promote the event and encourage community participation.
