WOWT: Want a Better Night's Sleep?

Millions of Americans either have sleep disorders or intermittent sleep problems, according to the National Institutes of Health, so we asked a Methodist physician for six strategies to get better sleep.

Dr. Jeffrey Gartrell said the effects of poor sleep are almost immediate.

"People just feel miserable. They don't feel quite as energetic. They may have difficult performing their job functions. They may have dissatisfaction in their personal relationships," said Dr. Gartrell.
