Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital helps families transition to the next phase of life by offering an array of classes to help you and your partner make educated decisions about pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, caring for your baby and so much more.

From Belly Bump to Bassinet

Prepare for the birth of your baby by learning techniques for managing labor, the importance of birthing partners and how to care for a newborn. This class will empower you to define your birth experience by making informed decisions. It also includes a tour of the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Women and Newborns Center. 

Cost: $25. Registration is required.

Breastfeeding Basics

Learn the benefits of breastfeeding and gain helpful tips for a successful breastfeeding journey. Your partner or support person is encouraged to attend this class with you.

Cost: Free. Registration is required.

Baby and Me Support Group

Bond with your baby and share experiences with other moms in an interactive setting. You will gain breastfeeding tips and reassurance from a certified lactation consultant. Moms with babies up to 6 months in age are encouraged to attend.

Cost: Free. Registration is required.

ONLINE Back to Work and Breastfeeding Support Group

Breastfeeding moms will get helpful advice from our lactation consultants to help ease the return to the workplace.
