Looking for a physician?

We feel one of the best things you can do for your health is to establish a trusted relationship with a primary care physician. This physician will act as the coordinator of your care, helping to determine which other specialists need to be consulted, while looking at the bigger picture of your overall care.

In addition to primary care providers, we are fortunate to have board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians in nearly every medical specialty serving our region.

The original Fremont Hospital was built in 1897 and moved to multiple locations before calling 23rd & Clarkson home in 1940. That facility opened with 50 beds and by 1956, bed capacity grew to 120.

Today, Methodist Fremont Health includes:

  • Methodist Fremont Health Medical Center
  • Dunklau Gardens
  • Physician and specialty clinics

The Methodist Fremont Health Medical Center includes 75 inpatient beds (55 acute care beds and a 20 bed inpatient behavioral health unit).

Financial Assistance

Methodist Health System is a not-for-profit healthcare organization guided by a commitment to its mission and core values through compassionate service.

It is both the philosophy and practice of each facility and provider that medically necessary healthcare services are available to patients, and those in emergent medical need, without delay and regardless of their ability to pay.

For those with limited financial resources, Methodist Health System has established a financial assistance program to help them in paying for care.
