Methodist is proud to welcome Bill Brummel – a Peabody Award winner and five-time Emmy Award nominee – for a special screening of his film “Can You Hear My Voice?”
The documentary follows the one-of-a-kind Shout at Cancer choir, which is made up of survivors who’ve had their voice boxes removed. Together, they overcome obstacles ahead of their most ambitious performance – a sold-out concert at London's Tabernacle theater.
Laryngectomy patients and their loved ones are invited to join us for a special complimentary screening of “Can You Hear My Voice?” as well as a panel discussion on laryngectomy survivorship and reception with Bill Brummel. This event will be held at Mammel Hall on the UNO campus, located at 6708 Pine St. Event parking is available on-site.
Several on-site parking options are available.
- Guests may go online to the MavPARK website and purchase a daily visitor permit for $4.00. This will allow you to park in any faculty or student surface lot or garage on campus in a "general use" parking stall. The closest faculty/student parking areas to Mammel Hall are Lot 5 or the Pacific Parking Garage.
- Daily or hourly parking options are available for purchase through the parking kiosks located in Lot 5 and the Pacific Parking Garage. The rate is $1.00 per hour or $4.00 for the day.
- Daily or hourly parking in the Pacific Parking Garage can also be purchased through the Park Omaha app. The rate for that is $1.00 per hour or $4.00 for the day.
- Free parking options are also available in nearby Arksarben Village. However, guests should be aware that these are not located directly near Mammel Hall and they will have to walk to the event.
