Help us Stuff the Bus! You can fight hunger in our community and help ensure that all Omaha children have a joyful holiday season during the annual WOWT Stuff the Bus Food and Toy drive on Thursday, Dec. 1, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Volunteers will be collecting nonperishable food items, paper goods and new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages at two locations: Methodist Women’s Hospital at 192nd and Dodge and the NP Dodge building at 87th and Dodge.

Donating is quick, easy and contact-free. Simply pull up and pop your trunk. Our volunteers will collect your donation. Cash donations will also be accepted.

Special needs this season include:

  • Beans
  • Breakfast foods like cereal, oatmeal and pancake mix
  • Canned vegetables
  • Crackers
  • Canned meat/fish
  • Meal starter kits, like Hamburger Helper
  • Pasta and pasta sauce
  • Rice
  • Toilet paper

While the items listed above are in constant demand, all nonperishable food items and paper goods will be gratefully accepted.
