Wellness screening blood draws will be held from 7:00 – 8:30 a.m., on the second Wednesday of each month: Jan. 10, Feb. 14, Mar. 13, Apr. 10, May 8, June 12, July 10, Aug. 14, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, and Dec. 11. Appointment are required. At Methodist Fremont Health, 3rd Floor of Health Park Plaza.

Tests offered:

  • $35 Wellness Blood Profiles includes testing for diabetes, lipids, kidney function, liver function, anemia, infection and more
  • $20 Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) Test for evaluating thyroid function
  • $20 Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Test used primarily to screen for prostate cancer
  • $20 Hemoglobin (HgbA1C or A1c) Test to measure average level of blood sugar over the past 2 to 3 months
  • $0 Hepatitis C Antibody Test detects if you have an antibody against the Hepatitis C Virus. A positive result requires further testing, in consultation with your personal physician, to determine the significance of this result. All positive Hepatitis C tests must be reported to the State of Nebraska Department of Health with your name and birth date.

A 10 to 12 hour fast is recommended for ideal results. If you are taking medications, take them as scheduled, unless directed differently by your physician. You may drink water or black coffee while fasting. Screenings are not intended as a substitute for regular medical exams. All tests are offered at a reduced fee and cannot be filed through health insurance. Cash or personal checks will be accepted on the day of testing.
