Methodist Offers Free Lung Cancer Screenings on Nov. 11
Methodist Health System is proud to offer a limited number of lung cancer screening appointments in conjunction with National Lung Cancer Screening Day.
Screening Information
A limited number of appointments for low-dose computed tomography (CT) scans are available on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

Screening Eligibility
Annual screenings lung cancer screenings using low-dose CT scans are recommended for people who:
- Are 50-80 years old
- Are asymptomatic (have no signs or symptoms of lung cancer)
- Currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years
- Have a 20 pack-year smoking history (one pack per day for 20 years or two packs per day for 10 years, etc.)
