32 Methodist nurses honored with Nebraska Nurses Association's Positive Image of Nursing Award

Thirty-two Methodist nurses were recently honored by the Nebraska Nurses Association during the Positive Image of Nursing Breakfast on May 2. The annual Positive Image of Nursing award highlights nurses for their commitment and dedication to their profession. Honorees were nominated by peers from local hospitals, clinics and colleges of nursing.

Teri Bruening, MSN-RN, GERO-BC, NEA-BC, vice president and chief nursing officer for Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital, spoke at the event. She offered perspective on the progress the nursing profession has made in demonstrating the value nurses contribute to healthcare while reinforcing its longstanding reputation as one of the most trusted professions.
