Pam Bramblett could try on any outfit knowing it was likely to look good. Her 5-foot-5-inch, 138-pound frame wasn’t much heavier at age 57 than at age 27.

So when Bramblett was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, she was stunned.

"I started bawling in the doctor’s office,” she said.

Dr. Katrena Lacey, internist/pediatrician with Methodist Physicians Clinic in Gretna, said obesity remains a top concern among doctors. But people who are skinny fat are catching doctors’ attention, too.
