Beware of the bugs, many starting to make their rounds

If you haven’t already succumbed, consider yourself warned.

A handful of known seasonal bugs — two of them respiratory, one that goes straight to the gut — are making their rounds in Nebraska and western Iowa, and most are starting to make their mark.

Your best line of defense for some of these bugs - the flu shot.

Dr. Lindsay Northam, an internist with Methodist Physicians Clinic, said it does provide some coverage after a week or so.
