Bluffs Woman Proof Heart Attack Symptoms Can Differ

Women do not always experience the same heart attack symptoms that men do.

Just ask Jamie Sage, 55, of Council Bluffs, who suffered a heart attack on Aug. 6, 2015, without experiencing any pain.

“That evening, I walked home, and I was just sweating really, really bad,” she said. “My husband told me, ‘You don’t look good. You look pale.

Jamie received care at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital and was then transferred to Methodist Hospital for surgery. She shared her story with The Daily Nonpareil.
