Council Bluffs hospitals announce first babies of 2025

This was a special New Year’s holiday for John and Katie Adam of Bellevue — one that the Nebraska couple will forever cherish.
Their son, Maxwell, was the first baby born in 2025 in Council Bluffs. Maxwell was born at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital at 12:14 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2. He came into the world at 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
