Daily Nonpareil: Spirit of Courage Event Raises $125,000

The Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend went well and appears to have met its goal, a Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital official said Monday.

The benefit, combined with The Bald & the Brave activities held earlier in the summer, raised about $125,000 for the hospital’s Spirit of Courage Charitable Patient Care Fund, said Tara Slevin, vice president of development and volunteer services.
