The Dangers of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Carbon monoxide is known to a lot of people as the silent killer.

There are no warning signs," said Dr. Brian Gartrell, a family medicine doctor at Methodist Physicians Clinic in Council Bluffs.

It's impossible to see it or smell it. You're banking on an alarm to tell you when something is wrong.

"It can have consequences when we're exposed to it," Dr. Gartrell said.
