Dressing up babies at Methodist Women's Hospital NICU for St. Patrick's Day like a bit of home

Published: March 17, 2025

Parents with babies in Methodist Women’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit got a chance to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with their new family members thanks to the efforts of two volunteers.

Kathy Koslosky, a volunteer baby cuddler at the hospital, joined with Nancy Strickler to create holiday outfits for each of the tiny patients. Shamrocks and leprechaun hats were everywhere Wednesday, when the babies debuted their new attire.

“We don’t want them to miss out on everything they would be doing at home,” Koslosky said. “You can still celebrate the milestones of life.”
