There are many indicators of an abusive relationship, but there are more ways to get help.

Anytime that there's strangulation involved, anytime there's death threats involved. Those are huge, huge indicators, and that's when you want to involve law enforcement," said Anne Boatright, coordinator of the SANE program at Methodist Hospital.

Methodist Hospital is the only forensic nurse examiner program in the state of Nebraska that sees all patients of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

Anne Boatright and a member of the Omaha Police Department spoke with KMTV reporter Shannon Wilson about resources and care available for victims of domestic violence.
