The Harper Family, a legacy of giving

The drive is undeniable, and not confined to any one of Omaha’s hospitals or medical centers. It’s a community-wide, perpetual push to be that much better; to grow programs, services and positive outcomes; to harness technical innovation and human curiosity to redefine the bounds of what is possible — so that more and more lives can be nurtured, improved or saved.

At the heart of it all are people: visionary leaders, generous benefactors, and skilled caregivers, researchers and educators. Their individual accomplishments create legacies of hope and healing. Their collective impact elevates our entire region and helps secure a stronger tomorrow.

Methodist Hospital found a steady champion in the late Charles “Mike” Harper, a devoted husband and the former chairman and CEO of Conagra Foods.
