KETV: Angel Perez To Be Dismissed from NICU

The tiny baby Angel Perez is expected to make his first journey home.

Although family members are excited to have Angel released from the hospital, they still carry a heavy heart after the death of Angel’s mother, Karla Perez. She suffered a brain hemorrhage and doctors were able to keep her alive to deliver the baby through C-section.

“Karla picked that name once she was pregnant,” Berta Jimenez, Perez’s mother said.
