KETV highlights how Methodist's Mobile 3D Mammography coach is saving lives in Omaha
Published: Sept. 2, 2025
A big, pink coach is saving lives in Omaha, one stop at a time. It's the mobile mammography coach operated by Methodist Health System and supported by community partners.
The mobile clinic offers free or reduced-price mammograms to women who have no insurance or who are underinsured, like Claudia Salazar. The 61-year-old was recently screened outside the Heart Ministry Center.
The Methodist Hospital Foundation is always looking for community partners to join it in its quest to bring quality health care to everyone, and Mutual of Omaha has been a longtime sponsor of the program.
"Mutual takes a lot of steps to invest in our employees, and we want to make sure that we're playing a role in bringing those same services to our customers, to our neighbors, to our communities," said Kellee Grimes, a registered nurse who works in corporate well-being for Mutual.
