Komen Greater Iowa Awards Grant Dollars

The Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Foundation was among the grant recipients announced by the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Greater Iowa.

Representing Komen Greater Iowa, Mission Director Jessica Nelsen presented the $90,823 check in the hospital’s lobby Tuesday morning.

With a goal of reaching 300 women in Methodist Jennie Edmundson’s target population, the grant will assist women in Cass, Mills, Pottawattamie and Shelby Counties with breast cancer screenings and diagnostic services, as well as support, case management and survivorship care.
