MECC Wellness Participant Wins Jefferson Award

Peg Pease is being called a cheerleader for breast cancer survivors.

But that's not the only thing Pease has done to help those in her community.

I sing this song in the shower that says 'give me oil for my lamp, keep me burning, burning, burning,'" Pease said.

Pease is a breast cancer survivor for more than 13 years.
