Published: Dec. 12, 2024

Methodist Fremont Health joins a reputable group of organizations in receiving Pathway to Excellence designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

The Pathway designation is a global credential that highlights Methodist Fremont Health’s commitment to creating a healthy work environment where nurses feel empowered and valued and have a voice in policy and practice.

As a Pathway organization, Methodist Fremont Health leads the effort to enhance quality of care, patient and nursing safety, and health care delivery.

“This designation highlights what I have seen firsthand during my 10 years as a nursing leader at Methodist Fremont Health – our strong culture and clinical excellence,” said Melinda Kentfield, vice president, chief nursing executive for Methodist Fremont Health. “Our compassionate approach to our patients and each other set us apart. And it’s incredibly rewarding to know that we’re providing an optimal workplace for nurses, which yields quality patient care.”

According to the ANCC, Pathway nurses are more engaged, resulting in higher job satisfaction, reduced turnover, improved safety and better patient outcomes.
