Methodist Fremont Health’s Morgan Kriz honored with The DAISY Award

Congratulations to Morgan Kriz, a clinical nurse educator in the Surgery Department at Methodist Fremont Health, for being honored with The DAISY Award. Kriz was nominated by Stancie Bushlow, supervisor for Sterile Processing at the hospital, who wrote:

“Since stepping into her role as our educator, Morgan has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication and expertise. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and consistently provides valuable insights into areas that have strengthened our overall understanding and performance.

“I’ve encountered challenges outside my area of expertise when asked to provide services for the hospital as a whole. During those times, Morgan has been an incredible support. She takes initiative – doing the legwork, identifying the right contacts, organizing meetings and ensuring everyone is aligned. Her strong organizational skills and focus were especially valuable during our recent TJC (The Joint Commission) survey. Morgan stayed composed and attentive, researching issues, asking thoughtful questions and helping us clarify information and concerns. Her dedication truly helped keep the team focused and moving forward.

She takes the time to listen, identify key issues and locate the precise information needed to ensure clarity and confidence in daily operations.
