Congratulations to Jenny Borer, MSN, RN, GERO-BC, a nurse coordinator in the Medical-Surgical Unit at Methodist Hospital, for being honored with The DAISY Award. Her nominator wrote:
“Jenny has been a nurse on this unit for about a year. I have no idea what we did without her before she joined our team. She is an asset to our patients, especially to the patients who struggle with mental health. ... Jenny has a way of remaining calm no matter what the situation. She is extremely therapeutic and always knows exactly what to say in every situation. She is an amazing nurse and deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond for the needs of our patients."
