Methodist Marketing Department honored with 21 awards in national competitions
Published: Dec. 12, 2024The Methodist Health System Marketing Department was recently honored with 21 awards across three national competitions.
Methodist projects and campaigns from 2023 were judged against some of the best in the health care industry. We're excited to announce that Methodist earned nine awards from the Healthcare Marketing Report’s Healthcare Advertising Awards, nine from the Healthcare Digital Marketing Awards and three from the Aster Awards for excellence in health care advertising.
The Meaning of Care Magazine
Among the Marketing Department's projects gaining recognition was The Meaning of Care Magazine, which earned awards in the Healthcare Advertising Awards and Aster Awards competitions.
The Meaning of Care Magazine is written, designed, photographed and produced in-house by the Methodist Marketing Department. It's available at our affiliate sites and mailed to over 75,000 consumers in targeted ZIP codes, with circulation and demographics matched to each issue's content. Recipients include many of Methodist’s patients, employees, clients, physicians and donors to our foundations as well as members of the media, who often pick up and expand on the stories.
Outstanding Advertising and More
Other Methodist advertising and marketing projects honored reflect the ongoing successful collaboration between Methodist Marketing and Anderson Partners Advertising. Anderson Partners, an Omaha advertising agency, has represented Methodist for more than 20 years and works with the Marketing team to develop advertising campaigns and other promotional collateral.
One such collaboration, the 2023 "We're Expecting You" birth services campaign – which included social media, website and television advertising – earned 16 awards across the three competitions. Of note: All footage for this campaign was captured by Methodist’s in-house photo and video staff.
Methodist also earned awards for materials related to Methodist Volunteers In Partnership's “Winner’s Circle” event and the Methodist My Care mobile app.
