Mobile Diabetes Center Takes Screenings on the Road

With Halloween quickly approaching, some of you may plan on indulging in plenty of candy. But keep in mind your health comes first.

The insulin made or not made is how it affects your life," Barb Meyer, a Mobile Diabetes Center volunteer, said. "If it gets too low you don't function and if it gets too high you may not function well at all either."

Meyer is describing life with diabetes. Her daughter has been battling the disease for 19 years.
