Models Prepare for Omaha Fashion Week's Methodist Survivor Show

Published: Feb. 28, 2020

Hundreds of models spent Thursday getting dressed and made up for Omaha Fashion Week's Methodist Survivor Show.

Cancer survivors then got to practice walking the runway before their big show Thursday on the Omaha Fashion Week stage.

"It’s really important for them to walk the runway. It's almost like their silent testimony,” said Lori Fuchs, CMF, Inner Beauty Salon coordinator. “They're not speaking. They're just making a statement when they walk the runway, and it's really empowering for them whether they're a little child or a grown adult.”
