Omaha Family Welcomes Quads, State's First Since 2015

Candace and Aaron Smith of Omaha became the proud parents of the state's first set of quadruplets, when their three daughters and son were born by C-section at Methodist Women's Hospital on Feb. 9.
"We found out early in the pregnancy that we were having quadruplets," Candace said. "We were in shock and it took awhile to come to grips with the news. When they were born we were very excited and my heart melted - I feel in love with each one."
Aaliyah Marie, Cassadee Ray'Lee, Aaron Jamaal Jr., and Skyler La'Che are currently in the Women's Hospital NICU and will likely remain in the NICU team's care for several more weeks.
"I can't want to get them home to love and cuddle them 24/7," Candace said.
