Papillion Dad Delivers Daughter on Interstate

Cassie and Brent Kool of Papillion were scheduled to welcome their baby at Methodist Women's Hospital on Monday, April 9. Cassie's induction was planned for 7:30 a.m.

However, Blakely Kool had other ideas.

Cassie was feeling contractions at home in the early morning hours Monday when she told Brent it was time to head to the Methodist Women's Hospital.

While en route Blakely's arrival was moving quickly - that's when Brent connected with Jessi Cote, a labor and delivery nurse at Women's.
