The best moment in the college basketball season happens Sunday, Jan. 26, Omaha World-Herald Tom Shatel writes.

It will come in the Creighton-Xavier game, during the media timeout with less than 12 minutes to go in the game.

It will occur when 17,000, almost all adorned in pink, stand in unison and hold up cards.

Among those in attendance will be Dan O’Byrne and over 20 family members. Dan, a Bluejay fan and season-ticket holder for decades, is also a cancer warrior. He's spent the past two years in and out of chemotherapy and radiation at Methodist.
