Retired teachers work together to collect school supplies

A group of retired teachers at the Aksarben Village Dial Retirement Community noticed blue Salvation Army bins around town collecting school supplies.

As former teachers, they understood the critical need for the supplies.

They even remember spending their own money to buy school supplies themselves for the students who didn't have them.

Aksarben Village Senior Living is one of the Dial Retirement Community locations served by a Methodist Health System nurse.
