Safety, Security Measures in Place to Protect Newborns

The safety and security of newborns at Methodist Women's Hospital are top priority and many components are in place to assure that occurs on a daily basis.

The issue was top of mind following a recent abduction of a three-day old at a Norfolk, Nebraska hospital.

From staff training, to tracking devices to auto-locking doors such an incident would be difficult to achieve under the watchful eye of on-site security at Methodist Women's Hospital.
