Spirit of Courage Event Raises Over $100,000

It was a good year for Jennie Edmundson Hospital’s Spirit of Courage fundraising campaign, a Jennie official said Thursday.

"We still have a couple bills to come in, but we know we have raised between $100,000 and $115,000,” said Tara Slevin, vice president of development and volunteer services at Jennie.

That’s down slightly from last year’s total of $122,000, but not from lack of interest. Attendance at the events approached record levels, Slevin said.
