Students Experience Poverty Simulation at Day of Service Activity

Nearly 200 students at Nebraska Methodist College participated in Day of Service activities centered on poverty and community service on Tuesday.

Two groups of students participated in a poverty simulation where they were given a life scenario and faced challenging situations related to finances, food, shelter and health care.

The other portion of the day was spent at the Open Door Mission, where they participated in community service activities.
