Sue Roberts Talks Cancer With Joe Biden

"All we talked about was our children," Sue Roberts said.

For Roberts, it was a visit she will never forget. It was a chance to meet with former Vice President Joe Biden.

"We thought we were going to meet him for like five minutes," Roberts said. "Instead he took us into a room and we met with him for about 20 minutes."

This past week, Roberts went to see Biden speak at a seminar in Salt Lake City. Thanks to some pulled strings, she was able to visit with him. They discussed their common link, losing a child to brain cancer.

*The Roberts family, along with their daughter Heather, were the force behind Leap-For-A-Cure, an organization focused on raising awareness and dollars for brain cancer. Heather lost her battle a year ago, but in October the Roberts family along with Methodist announced the opening of an aquatic therapy pool at HealthWest.
