Triplets Arrive, No NICU Stay for These Babies

It’s been 10 years since the doctors and nurses at the Methodist Women’s Hospital saw triplets that didn’t spend time in the neonatal intensive care unit, but that stretch is over.

Traci and Tahner Thiem became parents on Jan. 11 to three healthy babies: Tayden Dake, Tyce Sanderson and Tierani Lennyn.

Tahner, coach of the David City wrestling team, missed two meets to be with his wife in Omaha. They were the first meets he has missed as a head coach, but at least, he said, he had a good reason.
