Volunteers Play Vital Role in Gift Shop Success

Walk into most Omaha-area hospitals, and one of the first things you see is a gift shop. More often than not, the person selling those cards and gifts is a volunteer.

Laura Stevenson is one of those helpful folks.

As president-elect of Methodist Volunteers In Partnership (VIP), one of Stevenson’s duties is to lead the Gift Shop Buyers Committee, a group of volunteers that finds and purchases items for gift shops at Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital.
