Woman Heading Home After 4 Months at Methodist Hospital

Diane West was admitted to Methodist Hospital in August for what was supposed to be a short visit.

"She ended up having four major diseases and eight or nine major infections. She was in intensive care for seven weeks, not all at the same time," said her husband, Jay West. "It wasn't a matter of whether she would ever live or not, but would we ever get out of the hospital."

Now, Diane is on track to be home for Christmas.

"I never lost hope. I never did," Jay said.
