Wound Center Receives Excellence Award

The Advanced Wound Center at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital has proven excellence as a member of Healogics, one of the nation’s largest providers of advanced wound care services.

On Tuesday, the Advanced Wound Center was awarded the Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Center of Excellence Award for achieving patient satisfaction rates higher than 92% and a healing rate of at least 91% in less than 30 days, for a minimum of two consecutive years.

"For 24 consecutive months, this team has exceeded our predetermined criteria looking at quality for our patients in healing them,” said Kim Kirschbaum, area vice president at Healogics.
