Overview
Cancer treatment may end, but some survivors continue to experience pain, stiffness and mobility challenges. These small-group workshops will introduce myofascial release, movement and self-care strategies designed to help survivors better manage these ongoing concerns and feel more comfortable and confident in their bodies.
Join us for this small-group workshop and learn practical strategies to support movement, comfort and well-being after cancer treatment.
The intimate format allows for individualized instruction, hands-on education and support.
This workshop will be led by Amy Mayer, OTD, OTR/L, RYT, occupational therapist and myofascial release practitioner. Additional workshop details can be found can be found here.
Cost
Through the generosity of the Harper's Hope Cancer Survivorship Program, this workshop is $25 per person (normally $85) and includes equipment you can take home, with the remaining cost covered by Harper’s Hope.
Payment may be made by check or electronically through a payment link that will be provided at registration. Payment is nonrefundable if you need to cancel; however, a credit toward a future class will be offered.
Participants should arrive 15–20 minutes early to complete required paperwork, including a consent form and release and waiver of liability. Enter through the east entrance of the cancer center (the valet door under the awning).
